Privacy: what we collect,
and what we do with it.

This page explains what Querida Mexican & Friends collects when you use queridadxb.com, connect to our guest Wi-Fi, join our loyalty card or get in touch with us, and how we use it.

1 · Who we are

Querida Mexican & Friends is a restaurant at Talal 14 Building, Shop 9, 14th Street, Al Barsha 1, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We decide how the personal information described on this page is used. You can reach us using the details in section 10.

2 · What we collect on this website

This website does not take payments.

3 · Cookies, analytics and ad measurement

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site still works without them. You can also manage how Google and Meta personalise ads in Google's My Ad Center and Meta's ad preferences.

4 · Hashed contact details

To measure which of our ads lead to enquiries and bookings, the email address or phone number you give us (for example in an enquiry form) may be shared with Google and Meta in hashed form. Hashing turns it into a fixed code from which the original cannot be read. Google and Meta compare that code with their own records and report back to us in totals, such as the number of enquiries that came from an ad. They do not use it to tell us who you are.

5 · Services run by others

Some of what you do from this site happens on services run by other companies, each with its own privacy policy: WhatsApp (messages), Zomato (table bookings), Deliveroo and Talabat (delivery orders), Google Maps (directions) and YouTube (embedded videos). When you use them, what you share there is handled under their policies, not this one.

6 · Guest Wi-Fi and the loyalty card

In the restaurant, our guest Wi-Fi and our digital loyalty card, Querida Familia, are run with Affinect. To connect or to join, we ask for your name, email address and phone number. We use them to run your loyalty card and, with your consent, to send you offers and news from Querida by email or WhatsApp. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link; to stop WhatsApp messages, tell us in the chat or use the details in section 10.

7 · How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reason we collected it, or as long as the law requires. Enquiry messages are kept while we handle your enquiry or event and for our records afterwards. Wi-Fi and loyalty details are kept while you are a member; if you unsubscribe, we stop sending you offers, and you can ask us to delete your details. Measurement data held by Google and Meta is kept under their own settings and policies.

We handle personal information in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). You can ask us to:
