Querida is thrilled to welcome Chef Carlos Ortiz as our guest — the third chapter of our Mexicans in MENA collaboration series.
Mexican-born and Barcelona-trained, he brings 15+ years across the world's most exacting kitchens: a Grado Superior de Cocina from the Escola Superior de Hostelería de Barcelona and a Master de Coctelería. He has staged at the 3-Michelin-starred Aponiente and at Gresca in Barcelona, served as Executive Chef of Chicha Limoná in Spain, and is now Chef de Cuisine at José by Pizarro inside the Conrad Etihad Towers, Abu Dhabi.
For one hour, he brings that journey to our table — the cross-cultural techniques that bridge authentic Mexican heritage and cutting-edge European gastronomy.
