Why Al Barsha.

Al Barsha 1 was the right neighbourhood for Querida because it's where Dubai eats every day — calm, family-paced, no mall, no rush. The room is twenty-six seats because we wanted dinners to feel like dinners. We opened in April 2024, opposite a salon, on a quiet street five minutes from the mall. Mama Lalis cooks. Obed runs the floor. Walk in. Most nights you'll get a table inside fifteen minutes; reservations also taken via Zomato.

Step 1

Explore Querida inside.

The room. The walls. The light. Twenty-six seats, one kitchen, no rush. Photographed across three days, three cameras: the still gallery, the Tuesday-night cinematic rail, the reels.

Tuesday night, in twelve frames.

From 6 PM open through the late sobremesa at eleven-thirty. Twelve photographs by the Querida house team, Sony α series, no flash, available light. Drag, scroll, or arrow-keys.
